Seminar: Job Situation and Training Experience
All participants are expected to prepare a presentation about their job situation and training experience. The presentation should include the following topics:
- What is your organisation? What type of job do you have? Does your boss support your ideas? How long have you worked there? Would you change anything about your job?
- Have you had any training experience? If so, what kind of people receive your training? Do you plan every training session? Do your training ideas work in the real world?
Discussion: Designing An Effective Training Syllabus.
Group discussion about what makes a good training syllabus:
- Characteristics of a “good” syllabus
- Syllabus design and design methodology.
- Modifying a syllabus to meet current needs
- Planning versus improvisation
