The 2011 Intermediate Course Syllabus
Aims and Objectives
The intermediate course builds on the knowledge gained from the basic course to give the participants a deeper understanding of using a screen reader, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
Through the optional courses, the participants have the opportunity to learn how to create a simple computer programme, or to become familiar with Ubuntu Linux and the Orca screen reader, depending upon their individual interests.
The seminar, discussions and task presentation give the participants a chance to exchange ideas and opinions about training techniques, syllabus development, information technology, and current trends in operating system and web accessibility.

The syllabus seems absolutely perfect and I look forward to enjoying the actual course. While discussing blogging with wordpress, I hope you would also be including some basic HTML tips such as creating “read more” or “download” links. on the web page. I know the basic HTML codes but I don’t know how to create those links. So, if it is not there in the syllabus, I would be grateful if you could kindly incorporate at least the basic ones. Last but not the least, I have not yet received the letter of invitation although I have been notified that it has been dispatched on 25th mMay 2010. So, if it is possible to send the letter as an attachment via email, I would be glad to have it because I feel it might delay my application process here if it doesn’t reach me within this month.
With kind regards

Hello, Amrith.
Thanks for your comments.
If there’s time and enough interest, I’m sure we can take a quick look at html tags for linking to external web pages. However, this will depend on how much knowledge the other participants have.
I’ve written to Christina to ask her to send you a letter of invitation as an e-mail attachment. Hopefully you should receive it soon.
