Course Syllabus

Aims and Objectives

The intermediate course builds on the knowledge gained from the basic course to give the participants a deeper understanding of the Jaws screen reader, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.

Through the optional courses, the participants have the opportunity to learn how to create a simple computer programme, or to become familiar with Ubuntu Linux and the Orca screen reader, depending upon their individual interests.

The seminar, discussions and task presentation give the participants a chance to exchange ideas and opinions about training techniques, syllabus development, information technology, and current trends in operating system and web accessibility.
