Course notes for GMail and Juice
19 July, 2008Course notes for Windows Mail
18 July, 2008Good morning, everyone.
I have just posted the course notes for Windows Mail. Please take a look at them and tell me what you think.
I’m now working on some notes for using a GMail (Google mail) email account with Windows Mail. I’ll let you know when they’re finished.
More course notes coming soon
17 July, 2008Good morning, everyone.
Please check back soon for more course notes.
The notes for Windows Mail and setting up a GMail account are almost ready, and should be posted by the end of this week.
Also, if there is enough time, we shall cover Windows Live Messenger, so course notes for this application will be posted soon.
Update to the Excel course notes
12 July, 2008Hello, everyone.
It’s been a while, but I’ve finally added a section to the Excel course notes about using the “Fill” function.
The example I use in the notes is filling some cells with a range of dates, starting from today’s date.
Hopefully we can cover this topic in greater detail during the training.
Good morning, everyone.
It has been a long time since I last posted to the blog, but a lot of things have happened.
Firstly, the training topics for this year’s course have been finalised. I shall post them to a new page on the blog soon.
Finally, we have decided to teach the Twitter messaging service if there’s enough time. For those of you who don’t know, Twitter is a kind of quick blogging service. You can post short messages about what you are doing now, and your friends can see and respond to them. Twitter is a good way to keep in touch with you friends and work colleagues, and it is also a lot of fun. We’d like to teach it together with making a blog.
Please look out for additions to the Excel and Skype tutorials in the near future. Also, I’m hoping to post some notes about Windows Live Messenger and Windows Live Mail before the course starts.
